SEE GPA Calculator 2024: Check Your NEB Grades Online

Welcome to the most accurate SEE GPA Calculator for students in Nepal. With the National Examination Board (NEB) enforcing the new Letter Grading Directive (2078/2080), calculating your exact GPA has become more complicated.

Our advanced NEB Grade Calculator instantly computes your final GPA based on your Theory and Practical marks. It correctly applies the strict new rule: you must secure at least 35% in your theory exams and 40% in practicals, otherwise, your final result will be marked as Non-Graded (NG).

How to Calculate Your SEE GPA

Using our free tool is incredibly simple:

  1. Look at your marksheet or estimate the marks you expect to receive.
  2. Enter your Theory Marks (out of 75) in the first column.
  3. Enter your Practical/Internal Assessment Marks (out of 25) in the second column.
  4. The tool instantly calculates your combined total, assigns the correct letter grade (A+, B, NG, etc.), and displays your overall GPA at the bottom.

(Note: The subject names are editable. If you are a Class 11 or 12 student, simply click the subject names to change them to Physics, Accountancy, or Business Studies).

Understanding the New Grading System in Nepal (2080 Onwards)

The days of just passing with 32 marks are gone. Under the new guidelines set by the NEB, theoretical and practical marks are no longer simply merged to pass a student. You have to prove competency in both areas separately.

The Golden Rule:

  • Theory Pass Mark: You must score at least 26.25 marks out of 75 (which is 35%).
  • Practical Pass Mark: You must score at least 10 marks out of 25 (which is 40%).

If you score 25 in theory and 25 in practical (total 50), you might think you achieved a C+ grade. However, under the new rules, because your theory mark is below 26.25, your grade will automatically drop to NG (Non-Graded), meaning you cannot join Class 11 without giving a chance exam.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How is the SEE GPA score actually calculated?

The system computes your overall GPA value by tracking down individual grade point equivalents earned across every active subject slot, summarizing those values together, and dividing that final combination number by the exact quantity of courses inside your current track matrix.

What specific score numbers count as a passing grade?

To keep your results clean of a Non-Graded flag, your marksheet needs to show a minimum value of 26.25 on a standard 75-mark theoretical assessment sheet alongside a minimum valuation of 10 on standard 25-point internal practical logs.

What does the NG symbol indicate on my grade report?

The letters stand for Non-Graded. This structural classification functions as the updated replacement tag for traditional failing letters. Registering an NG means you haven’t secured the foundational baseline percentages necessary to unlock your cumulative average or secure a direct path toward next-level high school registration windows.

Can I modify the preset list of courses inside this tool?

Yes! This utility is fully custom-built. You can change any existing text field label directly to fit custom specifications, drop unnecessary lines via individual row management markers, or add completely clean lines to calculate specialized Class 11, Class 12, or distinct vocational test scores easily.
